Engineering/Design Overview:
• Suspension and seat frame structure is based on steel stampings and welded assemblies.
• Tight tolerance design for minimal free-play.
• Upper and lower suspension stampings are 10 gauge mild steel (.135”).
• Seat and backrest pan stampings are 14 gauge mild steel (.080”).
• Heavy duty suspension levers are 5/16” thick steel with welded cross brace.
• Heavy duty 1 5/8” diameter damper.
• 1” OD Nylon rollers and bearings for quiet operation and long service life.
• Machined steel components (no diecast zinc) and ball-bearing race integrated into weight adjuster for smooth handle turning.
• 10.9 grade hardware throughout suspension structure.
• Welds performed by CNC programable robots.
• Foams are injected molded – hard tooled, for part to part consistency.
